Thai Basil Gimlet

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • ice

  • 6-8 fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Thai Basil leaves

  • sparkling water (optional: replace with 2 oz of gin)

  • 1 sprig of fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Thai Basil (for garnish)


In a shaker, muddle the Thai basil leaves (this releases the flavor of the Thai basil).

Add your lime juice and simple syrup. (If using gin, add into the shaker with ice and shake.)

Strain the mixture into a chilled glass and top with sparkling water.

Garnish with a sprig of thai basil.
