Freeman Herbs has launched "Live Greens by Freeman," a new line of living herbs and greens sold with roots intact for retail and foodservice partners. The line rolls out throughout 2026. The Lincoln, Ontario-based grower says the format reduces waste, improves consistency, and extends shelf life. The program is designed for year-round supply and reliable retail execution. 

Whether it be exercising, consuming a healthier diet, or protecting themselves from colds and flus, people are looking for ways to get fit and stay healthy during the winter months.

Alongside visits to Sunrise Greenhouse, Freeman Herbs, Beverly Greenhouses, and Terra Greenhouses, participants also explored the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre.

A few years ago, Premier Tech Horticulture partnered with Freeman Herbs of Beamsville, Ontario  to develop a custom organic medium that would meet and exceed their customer expectations.
