1 cup fresh spinach leaves, washed
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1 cup fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Italian parsley leaves, washed
1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any preferred milk
Juice of 1 lime
1 cup ice cubes
Wash all the fresh ingredients thoroughly before using.
Prepare the spinach by removing any tough stems if needed.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh.
Core and chop the green apple into smaller pieces.
Place the spinach, avocado, green apple, Italian parsley, honey or maple syrup (if using), almond milk, lime juice, and ice cubes into a blender.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. You may need to pause and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything gets thoroughly blended.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more honey, lime juice, or even a pinch of salt, if desired.
Once the smoothie reaches your preferred consistency, pour it into glasses and enjoy!
