Spiced Rosemary Mixed Nuts

Updated: Aug 1

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of unsalted raw mixed nuts

  • 2-3 tbsp of fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Rosemary, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tbsp of flaky salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350 ° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pour the nuts into a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, add the rosemary, sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, and cinnamon powder and mix until combined.

Add the butter and maple syrup into a small skillet and set to medium heat. Warm until the butter is melted, you don't want the maple syrup to caramelize.

Pour the melted butter and syrup over the nuts until they're all coated. Pour in the spice mixture and toss well.

Dump the mixture onto the baking sheet in an even layer and bake for 7 minutes. Mix around the nuts and bake for another 8 minutes.

Cool completely and transfer to an airtight container and serve once they have sat in the delicious mixture for a few hours.

Feel free to use these as a snack or even as a great gift option for your foodies!
