Macho Pepper Salsa

Irresistibly hot and spicy, super delicious, and best of all, this recipe is super simple to make at home.


  • 3 ½ cups whole plum tomatoes (including juice)

  • One small white onion peeled and roughly chopped

  • 2 fresh Freeman Herbs organic macho peppers seeded and chopped

  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 ½ tsp ground cumin

  • Salt to taste

  • (optional) ¼ to 1 tsp of granulated sugar

  • 2 handfuls of fresh Freeman Herbs organic cilantro

  • 3 tbsp lime juice


Add all ingredients to a food processor in the order listed.

Pulse ingredients to break up the large pieces. Process until desired smooth consistency.

Taste and adjust the recipe as desired at this step.

Transfer to an airtight container and let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Serve and enjoy!
