Ingredients
Fresh Freeman Herbs Organic Rosemary sprigs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Additional granulated sugar for coating
Directions
Wash and dry the rosemary sprigs thoroughly.
In a saucepan, combine the organic granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
Allow the syrup to cool for a few minutes.
Gently dip the rosemary sprigs into the sugar syrup, ensuring they're fully coated.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the coated rosemary sprigs to a wire rack set over parchment paper to drip and dry for about 30 minutes, until they're slightly tacky but not dripping.
Roll the slightly sticky rosemary sprigs in additional organic granulated sugar until coated evenly.
Place the sugared rosemary sprigs back on the wire rack to dry completely for about 1-2 hours.
Once dried, the sugared organic rosemary sprigs are ready to use as a beautiful and flavorful decoration for your desserts or drinks!
