Here’s a great way to use up some herbs that you may have too much of!
Not only delicious, but great to use in many different recipes, or even just to dip fresh bread into.
Ingredients:
2 cups olive oil
1/4 cup of fresh Freeman Herbs organic herbs, chopped (about 2-3 sprigs if you choose to use whole instead of chopped)
Feel free to add more flavour with peppercorns or freshly ground pepper, paprika, fennel seed, or garlic, or even mix it up and add a few different herbs together.
Directions:
Add the oil into a small saucepan and heat to 100 °F (to make this step easier, use either a candy thermometer or a probe thermometer)
Once the temperature is met, all your ingredients and maintain the temperature for 10 minutes.
Once the final temperature is met, remove from heat and let cool.
Pour into a container of choice, and once cool store in the refrigerator.
This lasts up to two weeks.
