Here is a simple way to dry your herbs for many recipes and other DIY uses!
There are many different ways you can dry your herbs; however, we will give you two different ways depending on how you prefer to dry them!
Upcycled Frame Drying Rack
For this method there are only a few materials and tools you will need;
Old picture frame (any size)
Chicken wire
Clothespins or twine to keep the herbs to the frame
Take your old picture frame and remove the glass and the back panel.
Cut your chicken wire to fit on the back of your frame, remember you don’t want to be able to see it from the front.
Use a staple gun to keep the chicken wire in place!
Use clothes pins or twine to tie the herbs to the chicken wire to let them dry.
Hanging Herb Option
For this method, there are only two materials needed;
A stick, pole, old broomstick
Twine
You will want to use the twine to hold the stick/pole/broomstick up.
You will need to tie this to something else to have it hang or mount to the wall.
Tie the twine around your herbs then tie it on the pole/stick/broomstick and let your herbs dry!
